Localization Project Manager (GMT +3 to GMT +1)

Help manage our game localization projects around the globe! The successful candidate will be responsible for managing numerous localization projects of different sizes and genres for multiple platforms. The tasks are managed through various localization systems including our own amazing Gridly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing localization projects from initial contact/request through to delivery, ensuring that projects meet quality, time, and budget expectations.
  • Managing client relationships and serving as the primary day-to-day contact; advising clients on the best localization solutions and helping them through the process.
  • Providing timely responses and actions to customer requests and closely cooperating with colleagues from different company teams.
  • Directly selecting, instructing, and managing linguists and freelance translators involved in the project.
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation, communicating project activities to internal stakeholders.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a similar Localization Project Manager position within a multilingual localization vendor.
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English is a must.
  • Strong self-organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent at customer communication and relations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment and willingness to see projects from various points of view.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-team collaboration skills, positive thinking and can-do attitude.
  • Experience with working within multicultural environment, open mind, understanding, and ability to collaborate with people of various cultural backgrounds.
  • High level of computer literacy (power user in MS Excel), willingness and motivation to learn new tools and systems.
  • Experience working on video games projects and an understanding of the game development lifecycle and process would be considered a huge plus.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard localization CAT tools and related processes would be considered a huge plus.

Good to have

  • Experience in managing video game LQA or VO projects.
  • Good understanding of various text file formats.
  • Knowledge of an additional foreign language.
